With world oil prices on the increase and fuel economy on everyone's mind, there couldn't be a better time for Nissan to launch the eco- friendly Denki (Japanese word for "electric") Cube across the pond, in a country that's well-known for its high pollution outputs. Powered by an electric motor and lithium-ion batteries, the essentially square Nissan was recently unveiled at the New York International Auto Show and caused quite a stir.
