The Aygo's been with us since 2005, and it's taken until 2012 for Toyota's urban star to get a significant overhaul – a testament to the success of the original design if ever there was one.

Time moves on, though, so for 2012, Toyota has given its fun small car a new look, better economy and ensured it's still cheap as chips to run.

The visual changes are in line with Toyota's new design language, while mechanically the power and torque figures remain the same but economy improves to 65.7mpg (manual).
